A3 CAD & Technical Drawing Printing in Dubai

A3 at 297 × 420 mm (29.7 × 42 cm) is the reporting size of technical work. It is what goes into a submission binder, a method statement, a handover file or a report appendix. Print Zone prints A3 technical documents, engineering drawings, diagrams and reduced construction plans on 80 GSM drawing paper, in black & white or full colour.

A3 is the drawing size that lives in documents

Unlike the larger sizes, A3 drawings are usually read as part of something else — a technical submittal, a method statement, an O&M manual or an inspection report. That changes what matters. Legibility of small annotation at reduced scale is more important than sheet presence, and the sheet needs to sit neatly alongside A4 text pages.

Reducing an A1 drawing to A3 works well for diagrams, schematics and simple plans, but dense construction sheets can become hard to read. If a reduced sheet has to remain usable on site, A2 is usually the safer step down.

Fits standard binders, folders and submission sets

Good for schematics, diagrams and single-service layouts

Common for O&M manuals and inspection records

Check line weights before reducing a dense drawing

Frequently asked questions

What is the size of A3 drawing paper? A3 is 297 × 420 mm, which is 29.7 × 42 cm — twice the size of A4.

Can a full A1 drawing be printed at A3? It can, but very dense construction sheets may become hard to read at that reduction. Diagrams and simpler plans reduce well.

Do you print A3 drawings in colour? Yes — black & white and full colour are both available on 80 GSM drawing paper.

Can I order A3 drawings together with A1 sheets? Yes. Mixed-size submission sets are common — note the size for each sheet in your order.
